Throughout thousands of years, the arts of Alternative Medicine, Herbal Preventative Medicine, Hands on Healing, Spiritual Intervention, and Feng Shui, as well as other forms of Scientific Hocus Pocus, have been extensively used in Eastern cultures, and some are more recently being incorporated into our brand new 240 year old western culture. Illustrated below are links that represent a life area that is typically laid out on a mental (or drawn out on paper), and referred to a "bagua" map. Each life area will describe objects and colors desired to enhance one's experiencing of peacefulness and balance. The procedure employed to Feng Shuing is to lay that area out on paper, then divide that area into the nine areas below. The "entry point" is in the center front, which is the life path area. Prosperity is to the left rear, relationships are to the right rear. These are the areas and order in which the ch'i (life force energy) will circulate throughout the structure and the placement of objects to enhance this energy flow will enhance one's experiencing of peacefulness and balance. When you start really focusing on the intricate connection between your environment and it's relationship to your well-being, all of these relationships will start to become quite obvious, and you'll have gained both knowledge and control over another very significant part of your life as it unfolds.
