Background Info
Middle Path, Paradiso’s latest CD, was released last month by 5th Element Music. Paradiso (Paradiso Turturici) lives and performs in the San Francisco Bay area. The creative producer, composer and musician formed his own record label “5th Element Vibes Music,” over a decade ago. His self taught musical talent extends to several instruments including the Theremin, keyboards and percussion. His primary instrument is the didjeridoo his gift for which was passed on to him by various elders and mentors.

Paradiso is renowned for using his music in healing. Trough one-on-one sessions with his many clients Paradiso “plays,” his client’s body with the vibrational music of the didjeridoo; an indigenous instrument from Australia. The healing vibrations of this unusual instrument are believed to release the body form negative energies and realign it within a balanced and relaxed state.

The tracks on Middle Path is are played on a hypnotic mix of keyboards and didjeridoo. Paradiso uses a variety of didjeridoos on the CD, to create a range of sounds that vibrate to the core of the listener’s body. His haunting electronic keyboard melodies shift the mind onto a different level, making this a great CD to use for meditation or chakra work.
The hypnotic rhythms also make this a perfect CD for yoga or sensuous message.

Binaural rhythms resonate through every track. These sensuous beats stimulate specific brainstem responses that increase the flow of brainwaves and can potentially create a shift in consciousness. My personal favorite is track is Glistening Sky (track 2), you can almost hear the voices of the souls of aboriginal ancestors chanting along to the vibrant didjeridoo and the lilting keyboard. The track in at once haunting and moving. Dolphins Healing (track &) is really the only less that fantastic track on the CD. It’s mixture of keyboard and dolphin song are grating after the relaxing rhythms of the previous tracks, but subsequent tracks are guaranteed to re-soothe.

Middle Path is a musical, mystical journey for the mind, body and the spirit; definitely worth adding to your collection.
