What Does New Age Really Mean?

       In pondering this question, I went to every Internet site, magazine and book I could put my hands on. I contacted some of the organizations and churches that fall under the banner of New Age and New Thought, compiling literally hundreds of pages of information. I have spoken with friends who are Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Jews, as well as Christians.  I came to the conclusion that New Age is a collective and on-going process. As such, I am simply unable to put this concept of inner thought and process into words that would satisfy everyone, anyone, or even myself.

While I was searching however, I discovered a paper distributed by the Theosophical Society in 1875 that touches on the core and concepts of New Age or New Thought quite well. This society was founded based on the "fundamental proposition" described below.  These thoughts and standards evolved from the Ancient Mystery Schools of the Middle Ages, and I share this  with you simply as a basis to establish your own ideas and concepts.

1. The universe and all that exists within it are one interdependent whole, and all known forms of life are collective at the core of their very existence, and  rooted in the same universal life creating reality.

2. This Reality (energy) is all-pervasive, but it can never be summed up in its parts, since it transcends all of Its expressions. It reveals itself in the purposeful, ordered, and meaningful processes of nature as well as in the  deepest recesses of the mind and spirit. 

3. Recognition of the unique value of every living being expresses itself in reverence for life, awareness of Love, compassion for all, and an  understanding of the need of individuals to find truth for themselves and express that truth as the basis of their existence.   The ways in which these ideals become realities in an individuals life are both the privileged choice and the responsible act of every human being...

Central to the concerns of this thought is the desire to promote understanding and fellowship among people of all races, nationalities, philosophies, and religions. Therefore, all people, whatever their race, creed, sex, caste, or color, are invited to participate as individuals, or within any collective environments that share in these basic beliefs and understandings.

In following these principals, there shall be no dogmas, as these teachings point toward the source of unity beyond all differences. Those who understand this will demonstrate a devotion to their own truth, love for all living things, and share a commitment to a life without judgment of others.

New Age "Masters"

First off there is need to describe what the term Master is about because New Age teachings seem to fill this term with a million definitions and always forget
to mention what it truly means.

*A Master is a Being who has completely surrendered and dedicated themselves to the sole purpose of serving Creation in every way possible and sometimes
even previously impossible.*

A Master is connected to his or her Divinity beyond anything else and will always take the absolute Best and Highest course of action on every situation. This
Being will not fear, will not doubt, and will not blink before doing what it *Knows* is the way for to carry on the unfoldment of Creation. 

How does one know? Simple... Christ was a Master, Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna, there HAVE been masters, and there have been others in out midst, but anyone claiming that position today is doing so out of their ego...  We are ALL on the path to become one with "God" (Masters), or we would not be in the flesh.  The way to know if you are on this Path is to develop the connection to your own Divinity and to have your Guidance be ALWAYS THE *HIGHEST*. To learn or be guided with anything but the Highest is a path that will lead to a dark end, no matter if it only seems a  bit dark, or if it is very dark. Light is not darkness and there are no shades of it, there is only absolute Light.  Remember the phrase "let you couscous be your guide..."  We all have one, and in that awareness lies the connection with our own Higher Self.

A Master would  NOT fill you with messages of "gentle love and light that is taking the planet to ascension safely" while Earth is in fact being enslaved and led to destruction by its governors and the people who do not care enough to get up and defend their home-planet. The Master would say what must be said under all known circumstances so that all will know the truth and take the necessary action in order to
overcome their difficulties and carry on the ascension, both of themselves and of the planet. To take away the blindness and show that the world as it is now is living a fairy tale that will take all who go with it to enslavement. This is the reason we are all on "The Path"... to reach this point of enlightenment. A responsible teacher or mentor would never claim to have reached this state, but many souls ARE advanced on the path, and it is your responsibility to find that truth that serves your heart, and follow it.
